Salah satu anak memilih peniti untuk dijadikan bahan Report, setelah berdiskusi dengan anak tersebut.. maka diapun mendapatkan idenya dengan proses ‘clustering’

Judul nya adalah ‘SHARP’ dimana dalam laporannya yang sederhana sesuai dengan nalar anak-anak, ia menceritakan tantenya yang jarinya tertusuk peniti..

Now, what is your idea?

- Trees produce logs.
- Logs produce chips.
- Chips produce pulp.
- Pulp produces damp PAPER.
- Damp PAPER produces big rolls of PAPER.

The above sentences sound very awkward, doesn’t it?
Therefore.. the CONJUNCTIONS are needed.

Example:
The trees are cut down into logs AND the logs are ground into chips THEN the chips are (compressed) into pulp, AFTER THATthe pulp is rolled into damp paper, NEXT it is dried up in the drying machine into big rolls of PAPER.

Let’s make the whole sentences completed or do you have any other objects to narrate? What are you waiting for?

Kemudian: Kertas itu ada di atas meja disudut ruangan rumah

Akhirnya kata itu berkembang menjadi :
Kertas itu ada diatas meja disudut ruangan yang kusam dan kotor bagian dari sebuah rumah tua milik Bapak Rd. Angkoro yang meninggal 2 bulan yang lalu karena sebuah kecelakaan, dimana kendaraan yang ia tumpangi masuk ke jurang……

Cobalah mengambil contoh dari kata ‘BATU’ gunakan imajinasimu.. kemana dan akan berkembang menjadi kalimat atau paragraf atau cerita pendek dsb.. seperti apakah kata BATU itu?

Pertama kali saya membaca kata YET  ini..saya ingat Present Perfect Tense..(I haven’t got it yet)tetapi ternyata kata YET ini dapat digunakan dalam kalimat lainnya seperti .. your room was  very dirty.. yet you didn’t clean it..

Gimana caranya supaya bisa ingat terus penggunaannya ya? Ya udah… saya buat kalimat-kalimat yang biasa saya pakai sehari-hari dalam aktifitas saya..

contoh:

Perut udah lapar tapi belum makan juga, (i was hungry, yet I didn’t have my lunch)

Hari sudah siang, tapi belum bangun juga, (it was already late, yet I couldn’t get off my bed)

eh ..ternyata gampang dan tidak membosankan ya belajar grammar dengan cara begitu..

oke.. sekarang saya sedangberfikir untuk memotong kuku, gimana coba kalimatnya? My nails were long enough yet I didn’t have them manicured!.. potong kuku dulu  ah…

b: Isn’t that great? having fun with the girl like her? you must have got a lot of luck.. as if I were you.. siigghhh….

Murid-murid bingung..terutama level 1 (alias SD kelas 1 & 2) tentu saja mereka tidak bisa menjawabnya jika gurunya tidak mengarahkan mereka dan tidak biasa menggunakan kalimat-kalimat tersebut sebagai bahan obrolan sebelum pelajaran dimulai. Obrolan diatas saya gunakan saat saya akan mengajarkan tentang BIRTHDAY dan benda-benda yang ada di acara ulang tahun itu.
